The front is hand painted with geometric Hopi designs representing rain clouds, rain, and the sun, arranged in a balanced panel composition with bold black linework and warm red accents. The natural clay body shows subtle firing variation, and the side handles are fitted with a cord in reference to traditional canteens, which were carried by a cord while walking.
